Covers loss or damage to goods during transport—by land, sea, or air. It’s suitable for businesses that regularly ship or receive cargo.
Cargo Insurance typically does not cover losses due to improper packaging, delays, normal wear and tear, or loss caused by the shipper’s negligence. It may also exclude damage from war, strikes, or customs seizure unless additional coverage is purchased.
Protects crops, livestock, farming equipment, and buildings against risks like hail, fire, floods, and disease. Designed for farmers and agricultural producers.
Agricultural Insurance usually does not cover losses from poor farming practices, market price fluctuations, delayed harvesting, or intentional damage. Some policies may also exclude damages from unregistered diseases or unapproved chemical use unless specifically included.
CMR Insurance covers the carrier’s legal liability for loss of, damage to, or delay in the delivery of goods during international road transport. It applies only when the carrier is found legally responsible under the CMR Convention. It does not cover damage caused by force majeure, poor packaging, or inherent defects in the goods.
Cargo Insurance protects the goods themselves and is usually purchased by the owner of the goods. It covers loss or damage during transport, regardless of who is at fault. CMR Insurance covers the carrier’s legal liability for loss, damage, or delay when transporting goods internationally by road under the CMR Convention.
